5 Best Bottle Shops in the Phoenix-Metro Area
Here in Phoenix we have many, MANY options to choose from when looking to buy craft beer to-go. Below are my picks for Top 5 Best Bottle Shops in the Phoenix-metro area.
5.) Beer World AZ
1530 N Country Club Dr
Mesa, AZ 85201
Starting out my list is a spot I don’t frequent enough. This north Mesa hub is small in size but ever-so-MIGHTY in options. Being run by a big personality also helps and I love the personalization and customer service Dave gives to everyone. Go check it out!
4.) Tops Liquor
403 W University Dr # 104
Tempe, AZ 85281
In a sense, Tops really should be #1 but the sheer congestion that exists in the O.C.D-inducing spot can be overwhelming and frustrating at times. However if you’re determined and patient to scan the infinite shelves you will always find something that you have never had before.
118 N Gilbert Rd
Gilbert, AZ 85234
Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the Gilbert/Chandler area. The area with possibly the highest demographic of craft beer consumers in the valley, if not the entire state. In this area GCM is the spot to go! Get your growlers and do all you’re “whale hunting”. I’ve stood in line at GCM many times and have always had a great experience.
2.) Craft Beer Hop Stop
717 W Union Hills Dr,
Phoenix, AZ 85027
First of all, is there a friendlier beer slinger than Allen?! Allen is MY BOY!
CBHS has seen success in a huge way since I’ve been turned on to them, expanding and adding all the time to better serve the needs and wants of our fanatical community. Beer reigns supreme here. The customer service is top rate and Allen has ALWAYS been enthusiastic and willing to help and accommodate a beer seekers whims.
1.) King’s Convenience
2811 N Central Ave
Phoenix, AZ 85004
Oh Mickey….The name says it all folks, period!
Located in the heart of Phoenix, everyone MUST/SHOULD know about King’s! Where do you even start?! Do you want the most insane deals offered at a growler station? Did you forget your growler? No worries he’s got crowlers? Want some of Arizona’s best beer? [Dark Sky/Tombstone/Mcfate] He’s got that. Don’t wanna buy a pack of anything? He does singles. Oh, did we talk about the deals/sales/specials?! Prices so low you wonder how he’s in business. BECAUSE HE’S THE KING!
I’ve enjoyed some of the best conversations while visiting with Mickey and I feel like I, and probably most people in our beer scene, can call him a friend. Between him and Allen up at CBHS I feel that they set the bar for customer service. Take a bow gentlemen, you deserve it.
Next year you can bet King’s Tasting room will be on a best craft beer bar list! Just sayin’.
